Job summary

TYLin seeks a detail-oriented Project Accountant to join our Shared Services Finance team in Panama. You will partner with Project Managers to support financial management across the project lifecycle, including setup, billing, revenue recognition and reporting.

The ideal candidate has strong project accounting experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of project accounting or project cost accounting experience.
• Experience in Architecture, Engineering or Consulting preferred.
• Deltek Vision knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with contract administration, change orders, contract modifications, approvals, and project-related accounting and billing matters.
• Monitor overdue Work-in-Progress (WIP) and Accounts Receivable balances with Project Managers.
• Interpret and apply project contract terms, billing requirements, and financial obligations.
• Participate in project kick-off meetings to ensure proper financial setup and compliance.
• Prepare and review Project Setup Modification Forms (PSUMF) to align budgets and revenue recognition with policy and ASC 606.
