Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Project Accountant in Georgia to own financial accuracy of project work—from cost postings to owner billings—and to partner with Project Managers to keep jobs on track and profitable.

This in-person role at our office in Kennesaw or Norcross involves reconciling costs, coordinating with procurement for materials, reviewing project financials, and supporting hourly payroll reporting.

Qualifications

• GAAP accounting experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile job costs to ensure accurate, timely cost postings.
• Reconcile progress billings and ensure owners are billed on schedule.
• Serve as the procurement interface for scheduled material processing.
• Review project financials with Project Managers and flag delays early.
• Manage field reporting as it relates to hourly payroll.
• Identify opportunities to add value within the Operations Department.

About The Role

We are adding a new Project Accountant to our Operations Department. This person will own the financial accuracy of our project work, from cost postings through owner billings, and will partner closely with Project Managers to keep every job on track and profitable.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile job costs to ensure accurate, timely cost postings
• Reconcile progress billings and ensure owners are billed on schedule
• Serve as the procurement interface for scheduled material processing
• Work closely with Project Managers to review project financials and flag schedule or cost delays early
• Manage field reporting as it relates to hourly payroll
• Identify and act on opportunities to add value within the Operations Department

• Approximately 3 years of GAAP accounting experience (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Valid driver's license (preferred)
