Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is seeking a Project Cost Accountant for construction firms in the metro Atlanta area. This role focuses on subcontractor billing, job cost tracking, and ensuring contract compliance across financial operations.

You will partner with project managers to monitor profitability, prepare financial statements, budgets and reports, and manage A/P and A/R with attention to detail in a hybrid office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of subcontractor billing and contract compliance.
• Proficiency in SAGE 300 Construction Software is highly desired.
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
