Job summary

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is partnered with a Rockingham County, NH client seeking a Project Accountant to join the accounting team. This onsite position reports to the Project Accounting Manager and offers up to $80,000 DOE.

The role involves preparing project billings, SOVs, change orders, and related reports, with strong Excel and ERP experience. Prior project accounting in construction is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with project accounting or construction accounting is preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and attention to detail are required.
• Experience using ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process project billings, change orders, and SOVs.

• Prepare billing packages, warranty letters, and subcontractor waivers.
• Run project accounting reports and assist PMs in monthly meetings.
• Review, update and reprice change orders as needed.
• Follow up on outstanding billing items and assist with new project setups.

Back Project Accountant

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a client in Rockingham County, NH area that is seeking a Project Accountant to join its accounting team. This position is fully onsite and will report to the Project Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process project billings, change orders, and schedules of values (SOVs)


• Enter billing information into the ERP system and third‑party payment platforms


• Prepare stored material billing packages, warranty letters, and subcontractor/supplier waivers


• Run project accounting reports and support monthly meetings with Project Managers


• Review, update, and reprice change orders as needed


• Follow up on outstanding project accounting and billing items


• Assist with new project setup and other accounting responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• Accounting or project accounting experience preferred


• Construction, engineering, or another project-based industry background strongly preferred


• Strong Microsoft Excel skills


• Experience working with an ERP system preferred


• Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational skills


• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines


• High School Diploma required; degree not required with relevant project accounting experience

Compensation is up to $80,000 DOE.
