The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in accounting or finance and 3+ years in project accounting, with proficiency in ERP software and strong Excel skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 3+ years of project accounting experience, preferably in AEC or professional services.
• Proficient in accounting software (Deltek/Vantagepoint, BST, EleVia or similar ERP).
• Strong Excel skills and analytical mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate with Project Managers and Subconsultants regarding contracts, changes, approvals, and billing.
• Open new projects, proposals, and clients in the ERP system.
• Review contracts for financial terms and ensure accurate project setup.
• Process and finalize invoices with required backups.
• Upload invoices to client billing portals and coordinate approvals.
• Maintain organized electronic project documents and archives.
• Resolve variances and research project-related financial issues.
• Provide ongoing support to Project Managers and coordinate with local offices.

Description

• Communicate effectively with Project Managers and Subconsultants regarding contract documents, change orders, project modifications, approvals, and billing-related services
• Open new projects, proposals, and clients in the enterprise software system
• Review contracts for financial terms and ensure accurate representation in project setup documentation; notify Project Managers of any discrepancies
• Process draft invoices and related documentation through the electronic billing system
• Prepare and finalize invoices for billable projects, including all required backup documentation
• Upload final invoices to client billing portals as needed
• Review consultant invoices and coordinate approvals with Project Managers
• Maintain organized electronic filing and archiving of project-specific documents including contracts, proposals, budget changes, and project setup forms
• Ensure timely communication to resolve open items and maintain project clarity
• Obtain appropriate approvals in accordance with company policies
• Research and reconcile project-related financial issues; identify and resolve variances
• Provide ongoing support to Project Managers and coordinate with local offices
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
