Job summary

CFS in Baltimore is seeking a Project Accountant to join a growing accounting team supporting a diverse real estate and development portfolio.

You will handle full-cycle accounting for properties, prepare monthly statements, monitor budgets, and collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely closes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 2-5 years of accounting experience.
• Public accounting and/or audit experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Stable employment history with progression and commitment.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounting for assigned properties and development projects
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and schedules
• Support accounting activities related to development and construction projects
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and reporting requirements
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist with close processes
• Collaborate with Project Accountants, Accounting Managers, and operations
