Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a diversified private company with construction, service, distribution, ecommerce and light manufacturing operations.

You’ll manage month-end close, financial reporting, WIP, job costing and project profitability in a complex, fast-paced environment. Offering up to $100,000 base plus a performance bonus, this hybrid role provides exposure to the Controller and CFO, opportunities across multiple business units, and potential for one

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Approximately 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Public accounting/audit experience strongly preferred.
• Ideal background: 2+ years of public accounting plus 1–2+ years of corporate accounting.
• Strong GAAP, financial reporting and month-end close experience.
• Strong Excel and ERP skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Construction experience is NOT required; exposure to project-based environments is a plus.
• Exposure to WIP, job costing, percentage-of-completion accounting, inventory, sales tax, or government contracts is helpful but not required.

Looking for a Senior Accountant role where you can do more than reconciliations and month-end close?

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Approximately 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience

Public accounting/audit experience strongly preferred
