Baltimore, MD | $85,000–$105,000 Base Salary
If you're a property accountant who enjoys real estate but feels like you've outgrown simply "closing the books," this is the kind of opportunity worth exploring.
We are partnering with one of Baltimore's most prominent and sophisticated real estate organizations as it continues to invest in and upgrade its Property Accounting team. The company operates a large, diverse real estate platform and offers the opportunity to work alongside accomplished professionals across Property Management, Asset Management, Investments, Development and Finance.
Even better: the accounting leadership here is excellent.
This team is being built under a highly regarded Director of Property Accounting who is focused on developing people, improving processes and creating a best-in-class accounting function.
This isn't an environment where you'll disappear into a large accounting department. You'll have visibility, ownership and the opportunity to become an important part of a growing team.
You’ll gain exposure to a sophisticated portfolio spanning commercial, development and residential real estate rather than accounting for the same type of asset every month.

Real ownership.
You’ll independently manage the accounting and financial reporting for an assigned portfolio and become a go-to accounting resource for the properties you support.
Exposure to transactions.
As the portfolio evolves, you’ll participate in the accounting surrounding acquisitions, dispositions, refinancings and property onboarding.
A team that’s investing in talent.
Leadership is actively strengthening the Property Accounting organization, creating an excellent opportunity to join while the team is being built and position yourself for continued advancement.
Strong leadership and mentorship.
You’ll work for people who understand accounting, value good work and want their team members to develop.
