Qualifications

• 2+ years PE teaching experience.
• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred.
• CA Teaching Credential preferred.
• Familiar with progressive approaches (Project Based Learning, student-centered, flipped classroom).
• Lesson planning and curriculum design.
• Hebrew proficiency is a plus.
• Independent school experience is a plus.
• Differentiation and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction based on student needs and age-appropriate movement/learning.
• Implement adopted programs and design engaging curriculum aligned to guiding principles.
• Build positive relationships and differentiate for diverse learners.
• Assess frequently and document student learning and progress.
• Create lesson/unit plans with school leadership; use multi-modal instruction and technology.
• Collaborate across grades/subjects and involve parents as partners.
• Attend staff meetings and perform other duties; exchange professional feedback.
