Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California seeks an Elementary School Physical Education Teacher for the 26-27 school year. The role is full-time at our Redwood City sites, contributing to joyful, high-expectation classrooms.

Qualifications

• Holds a B.A./B.S degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Meets one of: valid teaching credential in the desired subject; eligibility for Provisional Internship Permit; or eligibility for Short Term Staff Permit.
• Experience teaching students with demographics similar to KIPP NC student community.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily and long-term lessons aligned with KIPP’s academic vision.
• Analyze data to identify student trends and adapt instruction.
• Maintain an inclusive, rigorous classroom using Restorative Practices and SEL.
• Implement culturally responsive classroom management to ensure safety and learning.
• Communicate regularly with families and staff to support student growth.
• Attend weekly professional development and Communities of Practice.
