Torrey Holistics is seeking a Progressive Stamping Die Technician in Michigan. You will repair and enhance stamping dies, analyze parts with stamping gauges, and apply CMM data to guide adjustments.

Responsibilities include bench PM, sharpening, shim installation, and sensor verification to ensure optimal die performance. This role requires 2+ years in die repair, a Journeyman license preferred, and proficiency with milling, grinding, lathe work, and profiler.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in die repair (required).
• Journeyman license preferred.
• Mechanical systems and die/tool repair proficiency.
• Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, and process gauges.

Responsibilities

• Repair and enhance progressive stamping dies, including upgrades.
• Analyze parts using stamping gauges; adjust dies precisely.
• Interpret CMM layout data to guide adjustments.
• Perform bench PM and address wear or damage.
• Sharpen details and install shims to maintain timing, shear, and stagger.
• Verify die sensor operation and adjust dies to sustain function.
