Job summary

Advocate Health in Georgia is seeking an experienced RN for our 10-bed Progressive Care Unit, a team‑oriented environment delivering intermediate‑level monitoring and compassionate patient care. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care, document in the EHR, and collaborate with the care team to influence outcomes.

You will promote safety and participate in professional development and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state.
• BLS certification required.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Communicates effectively and delegates appropriately to team members.
• Pursues professional development and maintains required certifications.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed.
