Job summary

Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, AL is seeking a Progressive Care RN (PCU RN) to provide specialized care for patients with acute or chronic conditions requiring close monitoring and interventions. This full-time day shift offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities to work with telemetry, rapid response, and coordinated transitions to lower levels of care.

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of Alabama.
BLS certification required.
ACLS certification considered a plus.
BSN preferred for enhanced qualifications.

Responsibilities

Assess patients' conditions including vitals, cardiac rhythms, neuro and respiratory status, with prompt response to deterioration.
Monitor telemetry for cardiac rhythms, oxygen saturation, BP and other parameters; interpret abnormalities.
Administer IV and other medications per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions.
Perform wound care, catheter care, suctioning, and oxygen therapy as ordered.
Adhere to evidence-based guidelines, hospital policies, and safety protocols.
