Job summary

AdventHealth in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Registered Nurse for Part Time Day shift at Lenexa City Center. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and administer medications per physician orders.

Eligible clinicians may earn salary increases through our Clinical Ladder, based on experience and performance. The role requires an RN with at least 1 year in acute care; BSN is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates of Nursing is required.
• RN license is required for practice.
• BSN is preferred but not mandatory.
• 1+ year of acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across multiple domains.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with regular updates.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical teams to optimize care delivery.
• Document care and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and adjust plans as needed.
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Supervise care by team members and promote quality.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and performance improvement.
