Job summary

Great Falls Clinic Hospital is seeking a Progressive Care Nurse to provide comprehensive care on the medical/surgical unit, supporting hemodynamically stable and selectively unstable patients. You will manage central lines, chest tubes, arterial lines, and ventilatory support while collaborating with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role requires Montana RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and recent experience in Progressive Care or Critical Care.

Qualifications

  • Degree from a Nursing Program.
  • Montana RN Licensure required.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • EPNC, TNCC certification preferred.
  • Experience in advanced Medical/Surgical or Critical Care/ Progressive Care required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care to hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients on general medical/surgical units.
  • Operate advanced medical equipment and manage patients with central lines, chest tubes, arterial lines, and ventilatory support.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective patient care delivery and discharge planning.
  • Precept and mentor junior staff while maintaining professional nursing standards.
