Job summary

Black Women's Mental Health Institute seeks an experienced Progressive Care Unit Nurse to provide complex, step-down level care for high-acuity patients. You will perform comprehensive assessments, monitor status, manage telemetry and IV therapies, and deliver evidence-based nursing care.

You will educate patients and families, coordinate interdisciplinary plans, and support safe transitions of care to promote safety and continuity. RN licensure and strong clinical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with progressive/step-down or high-acuity settings experience.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and IV therapy management.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, patient education, and safe discharge planning.
