Job summary

Health, Inc. is seeking a Progressive Care/PCU Registered Nurse to provide evidence-based, high-quality care for acutely ill adults in step-down settings.

You will perform rapid patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, administer medications and manage treatments, including drips and telemetry, and coordinate urgent interventions with an interdisciplinary team. Strong documentation, patient education, and safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in the United States.
• Experience in Progressive Care/PCU or similar acuity settings.
• Strong clinical judgment and prioritization in fast-changing situations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff.
• Accurate documentation and commitment to safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid, ongoing patient assessments and reassessments.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans based on clinical needs.
• Administer medications and manage treatments, including drips and telemetry.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and coordinate urgent interventions.
• Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and safety.
• Document nursing care and patient status accurately and completely.
• Maintain rigorous safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards.
