Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge in Lone Tree, CO is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the medical team. The RN will support pre-operative and post-operative care and advocate for patients to ensure an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities include assessing patients on admission and each shift, administering medications, documenting care, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical procedures.

Qualifications

• RN with Colorado DORA license or multi-state license required.
• ACLS required.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience; acute hospital experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in cardiac and medical-surgical care.
