Job summary

Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract on the night shift. This RN role requires strong critical care skills and the ability to titrate pressors, with epic systems experience preferred.

You will cover 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), with rotational weekends and floating to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units; BLS is required, ACLS/ NIHSS preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.
• Must be able to titrate pressors; level I trauma experience preferred.
• Epic experience required; able to float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU and boarding units.
• Contract: 13 weeks, night shift 12H, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM; guaranteed hours biweekly.

Position Description

• Contract Guarantee hours= 72 Hours Biweekly on all Assignments - these guaranteed hours do not include any "on-call" time worked
• Comments And Notes: BILH coversheet required at time of submission.
• 12H night shift. Every other weekend will be required. (Weekends for days - Sat and Sun, weekends for nights will be Fri, Sat, Sun). Floating occurs in 4 hour blocks while on shift - while floating every 4 hours is rare, it could happen.
• BLS-AHA required. ACLS-AHA, NIHSS preferred.
• MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE PRESSORS - please include in write up. Level 1 trauma experience is preferred. If no prior travel, level 1 trauma will be required. Epic experience required. Ratios will be between 1:3-5 and will be expected to float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU and other boarding units.
• Day one pass/fail testing will be administered. Relias practice tests will be available via Relias. Must be separated from BILH for a min of 6 months to be considered (perm, per diem, contract). Weekly start dates (Mondays). IVS to manager for approval.
