Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Progressive Care PCU RN for a travel assignment in Winchester, MA. The RN will care for telemetry and progressive care patients, make clinical judgments, and coordinate patient care with supervision while adhering to nursing standards.

The position requires MA RN licensure, 1 year of nursing experience with PCU exposure preferred, CPR, and health‑certification compliance. Competitive weekly pay and benefits are provided.

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

The Progressive Care Unit RN, assumes the responsibility andaccountability for delivering patient care to telemetry/progressive carepatients. The Progressive Care Unit RN demonstrates the ability to makeclinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision. Thisindividual employs critical thinking and performance ability in thecoordination of patient care, consistently performs according to nursingstandards, and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others inthe management of patient care. TheProgressive Care Unit RN is sometimes also called a step-down nurse, cardiacstepdown, neuro stepdown, surgical stepdown and in some medical centers, thePCU is also known as a transition or intermediate unit.

Minimum Requirements
