Job Description & Requirements

Position: Registered Nurse – Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN)

Location: Springfield, OH (Southwestern Ohio, along the Mad River)

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a 30-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with neuro, neurovascular, cardiac, renal, and med/surgical patient populations.
• Administer medications and drips as prescribed (e.g., heparin) and manage oxygen therapy with stable ventilatory needs (trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow). No ventilators required.
• Monitor stable arrhythmias, post-cath without intervention, post-pacemakers, syncope, chronic renal failure, and other post-operative or stable conditions as applicable.
• Document patient status and ensure safety, accuracy, and quality of care; maintain NCIS/NIHSS as required.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• PCU experience preferred
• SSN and DOB required for site onboarding
• References: at least 1 reference in entire work history
• Permanent address must be over 50 miles from facility
• Copy of driver’s license
• Signed BSMH right to represent
