Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS Certification required by new hire period.
• Experience with patient care tasks and monitoring.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and read comprehension at 8th grade level.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic patient care under RN supervision, including vital signs and transfers.
• Report abnormal patient conditions to an RN.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in patient rooms and surroundings.
