Job summary

Louisville Urban League seeks an Assistant Program Manager for the Urban Senior Jobs Program, coordinating the full lifecycle from participant recruitment to job placement and retention.

You will assist with intake, orientation, and program records, while supervising participants at host agencies to ensure progress against Skill Development Plans, with collaboration across government and non-profit partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• One to three years of professional experience in non-profit, administrative activities.
• Workforce development and federal grant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary liaison between LUL, program participants, and host agencies to secure partnership agreements and ensure effective training activities.
• Coordinates recruitment efforts of participants and host agencies to meet performance measures.
• Assist Program Manager with delivery of information sessions and enrollment applications and orientation sessions to potential participants.
• Monitors participants enrolled in training at host agencies and works with agencies to enhance participant skills and ensure compliance with Skill Development Plans.
