Shiloh Adventures is seeking a Programs Outreach Coordinator to serve as a relational ambassador to campers, staff, interns, and ministry partners. The role plans mentoring and discipleship, oversees outreach events, and helps design culturally relevant summer camp programming in collaboration with leadership.

The POC coordinates recruitment efforts and builds strong community ties with churches and families.

We are prayerfully seeking the people that God has ordained to be a part in this fantastic journey!DescriptionThe Programs Outreach Coordinator (POC) serves as Shiloh’s dynamic relational ambassador to the community, campers and their families, summer staff, interns, and ministry partners. The POC cultivates relationships and connections that foster transformational growth, new opportunities, and strategic partnerships. This role plans and coordinates camper mentoring and discipleship, camper follow-up events, and outreach opportunities, while also creating events and resources that equip and encourage parents. In collaboration with the Executive Director and Leadership Team, the POC designs culturally relevant summer camp programming, oversees camp programs and outreach events, and leads staff and camper recruitment efforts. This position reports directly to the Executive Director.Responsibilities (In collaboration with the POC team)Manage staff recruiting and trainingDevelop follow-up year-round discipleship for Shiloh campersOversee Ascend Leadership cohort – Plan and coordinate the summer retreat and Momentum Meeting programs throughout the yearDevelop and implement camper recruiting and follow-up care strategies for campers and parentsRopes course certified operator in support of the Ropes Course ManagerCoordinate events for staff/volunteers, campers, and parents - Staff parties, camper baptism, alumni events, volunteer workday oversight and planning, etc.Develop and maintain alumni relations and create a sense of community among Shiloh staff, past and presentOversee all church and ministry partner relations and associated events including recruiting volunteers, workdays, and special projectsDevelop camp programming including daily camp programs, schedules, and curriculumServe as a liaison to churches/organizations bringing groups of campersManage theme development and application including curriculum overlay, t-shirts, etc.Manage programs and outreach within budgetOther duties as assignedQualifications and Necessary SkillsMature Christian believer with strong biblical knowledge and discernmentPerseverance, strength, and personal maturity to see challenges and opportunity through to the endStrong camping leadership background and experience (preferred)Strong up-front communication skillsSelf-starter and initiator with vision and passion for the work and ministry of camping, community, and Kingdom collaborationsAbility to build relationships cross-culturally and connect to the urban community of colorOrganizedStrong leadership skills and the ability to rally othersFun and creative with lots of energyAbility to interact well with children and adultsAbility to creatively communicate biblical principles practically and show the relevance of them to everyday lifeFlexible and adaptable to rapid changePositive whatever-it-takes attitudeAvailable to work beyond regular workday for retreats and special events as neededEnjoys the opportunity to work indoors and outdoorsAvailable for extended work hours during summer camping season
