Job summary

Shiloh Adventures is seeking a Program and Outreach Coordinator to act as a relational ambassador to campers, families, staff, interns, and partners. You will cultivate connections for growth and partnership, design summer programming, and oversee staff recruitment and outreach events.

The role emphasizes mentoring, discipleship planning, and coordinating church partnerships while reporting to the Executive Director. Strong leadership, communication, and biblical grounding are essential.

Qualifications

• Mature Christian believer with strong biblical knowledge.
• Perseverance and personal maturity to see challenges through to the end.
• Strong camping leadership background and experience (preferred).
• Strong up-front communication skills.
• Self-starter with vision for camping, community, and Kingdom collaborations.
• Ability to build relationships cross-culturally and with the urban community of color.
• Organized with the ability to rally others.
• Energetic, creative, and able to interact with children and adults.
• Ability to communicate biblical principles practically in daily life.
• Flexible and adaptable to rapid change; positive attitude.
• Available for extended work hours during summer and for retreats/special events.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff recruiting and training.
• Develop follow-up year-round discipleship for campers.
• Oversee Ascend Leadership cohort; plan summer retreat and Momentum meetings.
• Develop camper recruiting and follow-up care strategies for campers and parents.
• Ropes course certified operator in support of the Ropes Course Manager.
• Coordinate staff/volunteers events and camper/parent activities.
• Develop alumni relations and foster community among staff past and present.
• Oversee church and ministry partner relations and related events.
• Develop camp programming including daily schedules and curriculum.
• Serve as liaison to churches bringing groups of campers.
• Manage theme development, curriculum overlay, and apparel.
• Manage programs and outreach within budget.
