Job summary

MCL Construction is seeking a Program Delivery Lead to join our Omaha team. This role focuses on keeping preconstruction and design moving, aligned with budgets and schedules, from concept through GMP.

You will own schedules, budgets, and deliverables and collaborate with architects, engineers, estimators, and consultants to ensure project objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in project management or preconstruction within commercial construction.
• Experience with design-build or design-assist delivery methods.
• Solid understanding of budgeting and scheduling in construction.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and visit active job sites.

Responsibilities

• Keep preconstruction and design moving - aligned, on budget, and on schedule - from first sketch to final GMP.
• Take ownership of preconstruction schedules, budgets, and deliverables from day one.
• Engage architects, engineers, estimators, and consultants to keep project objectives aligned.
• Track timelines and milestones, and flag risks before they become problems.
• Coordinate design reviews across disciplines and support feasibility studies, value engineering, and constructability reviews.
• Coordinate GMPs and lump-sum values with design-build and design-assist subcontractors.
• Build strong client relationships through responsiveness and follow-through.
