Job summary

The State of Mississippi Department of Human Services (MDHS) seeks an experienced Programming Analyst to join the EBT/EFITS Team. You will develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications and databases using Natural/ADABAS and SQL, supporting mission-critical Human Services systems in a 100% onsite environment in Jackson, MS.

Responsibilities include managing the full SDLC, collaborating with stakeholders, providing production support, and participating in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Natural/ADABAS development experience.
• Strong SQL development experience and expertise in SQL queries.
• SCL experience in a Linux environment.
• Advanced ability to design and enhance large enterprise applications with Natural.
• Strong SQL query development skills.
• Experience gathering business requirements and designing technical solutions.
• SDLC experience covering design, analysis, coding, QA, implementation, and maintenance.
• 7+ years supporting State DHS systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to participate in an on-call support rotation.

Responsibilities
