Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
10+ years of experience developing applications using Natural/Adabas and SQL.
Experience with SCL in Linux environments.
Advanced experience designing, implementing, and enhancing large-scale applications using Natural.
Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
Experience working with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements.
Ability to define technical direction and improve development processes.
7+ years of experience supporting State Department of Human Services systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Natural/Adabas technologies.
Analyze business requirements and develop technical solutions that align with organizational objectives.
Develop and maintain databases and application components using Natural, Adabas, and SQL.
Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine application requirements.
Design, implement, test, and deploy enhancements for complex multi-tier systems.
Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Perform application troubleshooting, debugging, issue resolution, and performance optimization.
Develop and execute quality assurance testing to ensure reliability and functionality.
Maintain technical documentation, system specifications, and development standards.
Participate in on-call rotation for production support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and performance.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and Agile/Lean practices.
