Job summary

Paylocity, a leading cloud-based HR and payroll software provider, is seeking a Programmer I to develop custom solutions for our Payroll and HR system customers. You will work with SQL, system tools, and potentially high level language tools, gathering client requirements and delivering solutions using financial and mathematical concepts.

The role includes interacting with clients, testing configurations, and partnering with internal teams to refine needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/related field
• Ability to demonstrate a basic knowledge of SQL
• Prior payroll experience a plus
• One-year experience with Crystal Reports or SQL Reporting Services
• Experience modifying SQL Server Stored Procedures
• Experience modifying SQL Server Reporting Services Reports
• Experience programming or reporting for accounting or payroll functions is a plus
• Familiarity with XML or XSLT translation is a plus

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements. You must be available five days per week during designated work hours. The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance. Position Overview

The Programmer I will be responsible for using system tools, SQL, and in some cases high level language tools to develop custom solutions for our Payroll and HR system customers. They additionally may be required to interact with clients to gather requirements and will be developing solutions using financial and mathematical concepts.

Salary & Benefits

The base pay range for this position is $47,100 - $70,000 /yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position offers a full range of benefits outlined here.
