Programmer Analyst 2

• Location: 7093 Broad Neck Road, Hanover, VA (Onsite)
• Contract type: Full-time, Contract
• Compensation: $85K-90K per year with benefits
• Citizenship/Residency: US Citizenship or Green card holder / Must be local to Hanover, VA area

Responsibilities

Candidate will be part of the modernization of a flagship cloud‑hosted (OCI) application BADGE, moving it from a desktop version to a web‑based version. The role requires understanding the existing desktop code, migrating it to a web application, working closely with lead developers, taking ownership of a given module, and providing guidance to other contractors.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of systems development and design using Visual Studio .Net
• Expert knowledge in developing ASP.Net, Web Services and Web applications in .Net
• Expert knowledge of .Net technologies (Visual Basic, C#, .Net Framework)
• Experience working in MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery Unobtrusive Validation, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with WinForms / WPF Forms
• Experience with TFS / GIT Source Control
• Experience with RDBMS and writing complex SQL queries
• Experience with Oracle and PL/SQL preferred
• Experience in Angular/React desired
