Job description

We are PMG

PMG, a global independent platform company engineered for impact, integrates business strategy, media, creative, and data within a single operating model powered by our proprietary operating system, Alli. With more than 1,000 employees, PMG partners with brands including Apple, Nike, Dropbox, Experian, Sephora, and Whole Foods. Our work has earned top industry honors, including Cannes Lions and Adweek’s Media Plan of the Year, and PMG has won 40+ workplace culture awards, including being the only company to rank among Ad Age’s Best Places to Work for 11 consecutive years.

Who You Will Be Working With

At PMG, our Integrated Media team brings together channel expertise, audience intelligence, technology, and strategic thinking to build media programs that drive meaningful business outcomes. We connect Programmatic, CTV, OTT, online video, YouTube, and broader brand media to help brands reach and grow valuable audiences while balancing customer acquisition, brand growth, and media effectiveness.

You’ll collaborate with client strategy leaders, media teams, analytics partners, technology experts, and senior client stakeholders to turn complex business priorities into integrated media strategies. Bringing deep Programmatic expertise and a broad understanding of the media ecosystem, you’ll establish strategic direction, determine how channels work together, guide investment decisions across local and national media, and apply first-, second-, and third-party data to sophisticated audience and activation strategies.

Beyond individual campaigns, you’ll help shape how PMG approaches Programmatic and Integrated Media at scale. You’ll establish strategic and testing roadmaps, advance CTV and video capabilities, evaluate emerging platforms and partner opportunities, and strengthen how audience data, measurement, attribution, AI, and technology inform media decisions. You’ll also collaborate across regions to create scalable ways of working, raise quality standards, and ensure strategic intent translates into excellent execution.

As a Principal in Integrated Media, you’ll operate as a senior subject‑matter expert and trusted advisor, tackling ambiguous media challenges, influencing executive‑level decisions, advancing Programmatic innovation, and elevating the strategic capabilities of teams around you. This is an opportunity to combine deep technical expertise with enterprise‑level thinking to influence how clients and PMG approach the future of media.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Lead integrated media strategy for large, complex accounts, with deep ownership of Programmatic and expertise spanning CTV, OTT, online video, YouTube, brand media, and local and national media buying.
  • Translate complex business objectives into actionable media strategies, investment frameworks, audience approaches, channel recommendations, and testing roadmaps, clearly articulating tradeoffs and expected business impact.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior and C‑suite client stakeholders, bringing an informed point of view to media opportunities, investment decisions, performance, innovation, and evolving marketplace dynamics.
  • Develop sophisticated audience and customer acquisition strategies that apply first-, second-, and third‑party data to improve audience identification, activation, growth, and media effectiveness.
  • Lead localized and geo‑targeted media strategies that connect national objectives with market‑level opportunities, creating scalable approaches to investment, activation, testing, and measurement.
  • Establish measurement strategies that connect media activity to business outcomes, guiding the application of attribution, experimentation, CAPI, incrementality, and other evolving measurement capabilities.
  • Shape Programmatic and brand media roadmaps, identifying opportunities to evolve channel strategy, audience activation, supply and partner strategy, measurement, and investment approaches.
  • Establish test‑and‑learn agendas with media and technology partners, evaluating emerging capabilities, beta opportunities, and marketplace developments based on their potential to create meaningful client value.
  • Evaluate platforms, publishers, inventory, and media partners through the lens of strategic fit, economics, transparency, measurement, execution quality, and long‑term business value.
  • Partner across regions and disciplines to establish scalable operating models, shared strategic principles, execution standards, and quality assurance while accounting for market‑specific needs.
  • Provide strategic oversight of reporting and performance analysis, identifying meaningful trends, risks, and opportunities and translating them into clear recommendations for senior client and internal stakeholders.
  • Mentor and influence media practitioners across teams, developing strategic judgment, strengthening Programmatic expertise, and raising the quality of integrated planning and execution without relying on direct reporting relationships.
  • Use AI, automation, and PMG technology to improve strategic decision‑making, accelerate insight generation, strengthen quality assurance, and create more effective and scalable ways of working.
What You Will Bring
  • 8+ years of experience in Programmatic, Integrated Media, digital media, or a related field, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Deep Programmatic expertise combined with demonstrated experience across CTV, OTT, online video, YouTube, brand media, and local and national media buying.
  • A track record of setting strategic direction for large or complex media accounts, connecting media strategy and investment decisions to customer, brand, and business outcomes.
  • Advanced knowledge of audience strategy, with experience applying first-, second-, and third‑party data to audience development, activation, acquisition, and growth.
  • Strong command of measurement and attribution, with the ability to evaluate methodologies and apply approaches such as experimentation, incrementality, CAPI, and attribution modeling to improve decision‑making.
  • Experience developing localized and geo‑targeted media strategies that balance market‑level opportunities with broader national or global objectives.
  • Proven ability to advise and influence senior and C‑suite stakeholders, translating complex media concepts, data, performance signals, and marketplace developments into clear decisions and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong judgment when navigating ambiguous or incomplete information, with the ability to evaluate competing priorities, articulate tradeoffs, and establish a clear path forward.
  • Experience evaluating emerging media, technology, and partner capabilities and translating promising opportunities into structured test‑and‑learn agendas and scalable strategies.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating across global or multi‑market teams, establishing shared strategic principles, operating practices, execution standards, and quality expectations while accounting for regional differences.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities, with a track record of elevating the strategic judgment and expertise of others and influencing cross‑functional teams as a senior individual contributor.
  • Ability to build trusted client relationships through regular executive engagement and flexibility to travel for meaningful in‑person collaboration with clients and teams.
  • A commitment to curiosity and adaptability as a Continual Learner, staying at the forefront of Programmatic, media, data, AI, and technology while demonstrating a Customer‑Focused mindset that connects innovation to meaningful business value.
  • A dedication to People‑Focused leadership and Leading by Example, fostering inclusive collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional growth while empowering others to do their best work.
  • A commitment to PMG’s values—Do the Right Thing, Be Inclusive, Be Agile, Always Change for the Better, Embrace Challenges, and Have Fun—using sound judgment, collaboration, and continual improvement to strengthen outcomes for clients and teams.
