Job Description:

The City of New York - OTI is seeking a Program System Engineer to ensure the seamless operation of the digital Hub across various systems and platforms. The candidate will work closely with OTI’s Office of Data Analytics (ODA) DevOps team and the Mayor’s Office Innovation Team to improve digital accessibility for child care services in New York City. This role involves managing infrastructure, optimizing data pipelines, and supporting application deployment.

• Perform technical design, development, and component testing of repository changes.
• Setup and maintain cloud-based servers and services.
• Engage with development teams to provide production management support input for new application builds.
• Create scalable data pipeline architecture following best practices.
• Execute and coordinate break fixes in production and non-production environments.
• Investigate and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Ensure development deliverables meet server software stacks and specifications.
• Provide support during testing and deployment by monitoring servers.
• Maintain and update system documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform special projects and initiatives as assigned.
