Job summary

Robbins Childrens Programs Inc. is seeking a Program Support Lead to oversee daily operations, staffing, and compliance for our preschool and school-age programs. You will mentor 20+ educators, guide curriculum development, and ensure alignment with Massachusetts EEC standards.

This leadership role bridges administrative oversight with family partnership, delivering engaging programming and a nurturing environment for children, families, and staff while coordinating events and staff development.

Qualifications

• EEC Director I or II preferred or fully qualified as a School-Age Group Leader.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in an EEC-licensed childcare environment.
• Schedule flexibility to manage split shifts and varying hours.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in rapidly changing situations.
• Experience collaborating with families and staff to plan events and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Supervision: oversee scheduling and mentoring of 20+ educators and assistants.
• Observations & reviews: conduct classroom observations and annual performance reviews.
• Regulatory alignment: ensure compliance with EEC health, safety, and educator-to-child ratios.
• Record keeping: manage spreadsheets for orders, grant budgets, and other information.
• Health & safety: coordinate monthly emergency drills.
• Behavior intervention: provide active assistance in classrooms for behavioral challenges.
• Creative programming: develop enrichment clubs, STEM curriculum, and hands-on activities.
• Daily flow: direct the seamless daily operation of both programs.
• Mission advocacy: promote Robbins Children's Programs' core mission with families and staff.
• Event coordination: execute program-wide family engagement activities and seasonal events.
• Family communication: maintain open updates and partnerships between home and center.
• Community outings: coordinate local outreach and staff presence at events.
