Chimes in Nottingham, MD is seeking a program supervisor to oversee staff delivering services to individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. The role includes staff supervision, training, and ensuring compliance with program specifications.

Education: Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Two years of supervisory experience and a valid driving record are necessary.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities is a plus.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Must have a car and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision, training, coaching, discipline, and performance evaluation to an assigned group of staff and persons served.
• Verifies staff attendance and ensures active support for all people served.
• Ensures adequate staffing and arranges temporary staff as needed.
• Assesses need for adaptive equipment and makes referrals.
• Ensures materials are in place at start of each shift and throughout the program time.
• Documents incidents and uses crisis intervention in emergencies.
• Responsible for staff development and ongoing training.
• Works with Assistant Director to reduce turnover.
• Conducts visits/inspections to ensure contractual specifications are met.
• Familiar with all DOL regulations related to persons served.
• Serves as a positive role model for employees.
