Job summary

Terros Health is hiring a Full-Time Program Supervisor at our Mitchell location in Phoenix, AZ. You will oversee the Turning the Tide program, provide guidance to staff, ensure grant and regulatory compliance, and support HIV/STI prevention activities with a focus on quality service delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in public health or related field, 1+ year HIV/STI prevention experience, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, behavioral health, prevention science, social work, or related field.
  • 1+ year HIV/STI prevention, outreach, education, or related public health experience and 1+ year supervisory/lead experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the daily operations of the Turning the Tide (T3) program and ensures grant, contract, and organizational requirements.
  • Provides programmatic and technical guidance to staff on complex client situations and service delivery challenges.
  • Reviews program documentation and data collection to ensure accuracy and compliance with grant and regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitors billing practices and service documentation to support funding and reimbursement requirements; implements corrective actions as needed.
  • May provide direct client-facing services, interventions, outreach, testing, and linkage-to-care as needed.
  • Responds to client complaints and barriers to services, addressing concerns per policies.
  • Acts as SME for HIV/STI prevention, outreach, testing, risk reduction education, and community engagement.
  • Oversees/testing activities and ensures testing is delivered per protocols and program requirements.
  • Prepares and submits monthly, bi-annual, annual, and continuation reports in a timely manner.
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and mentorship to staff to foster growth and excellent service delivery.

Duties
  • Oversees the daily operations of the Turning the Tide (T3) program and ensures compliance with grant, contract, and organizational requirements.
  • Provides programmatic and technical consultation, guidance, and support to staff regarding complex client situations, service delivery challenges, community engagement activities, and HIV/STI prevention strategies.
  • Reviews program documentation, service records, and data collection practices to ensure accuracy, quality, compliance with grant requirements, organizational standards, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitors billing practices and service documentation to support compliance with funding, contractual, and reimbursement requirements, and implements corrective actions as needed.
  • May provide direct client-facing services, interventions, education, outreach, testing, prevention activities, and linkage-to-care services as needed to support program operations and participant engagement.
  • Responds to and assists with the resolution of client complaints, grievances, escalated concerns, and barriers to services, ensuring concerns are addressed professionally and in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for HIV/STI prevention, outreach, testing, risk reduction education, and community engagement activities, ensuring services are implemented in accordance with evidence-based practices, public health guidelines, grant requirements, and organizational standards.
  • Oversees and/or participates in HIV/STI testing activities and ensures testing services are delivered in accordance with organizational protocols, public health standards, and program requirements.
  • Prepares and submits monthly, bi-annual, annual, continuation, and other required reports in a timely manner.
  • Provides direct leadership, coaching, and mentorship to team members to foster professional growth, excellence, and strong service delivery.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in public health, behavioral health, prevention science, social work, or a related field; preferred.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of HIV/STI prevention, outreach, education, or related public health experience and one (1) year of supervisory or lead experience required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of HIV/STI prevention, community outreach, prevention services, and behavioral health principles preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required.
  • Experience with electronic data collection systems, reporting tools, and social media platforms preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required. Willingness to obtain certification within sixty (60) days of assuming the role may be required based on program needs.
  • Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license, be 21 years of age with a minimum of 3 years driving experience, and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy
  • Must successfully pass a TB screening and criminal background check
  • Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.
