Job summary

Terros Health is seeking a licensed or eligible behavioral health professional to provide outpatient counseling services at our Phoenix location. You will conduct intakes, assessments, treatment and discharge planning and lead group counseling using evidence-based practices.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related behavioral health field and AZ licensure or eligibility, with in-office schedule Tuesday through Saturday and day shifts.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master’s degree in a related discipline and be eligible for AZ behavioral health license.
• Must pass background check including no disqualifying events.
• Must pass DCS Central Registry check.
• Must have ability to perform First Aid or CPR as necessary.
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Records is a plus (NextGen).
• Experience with diverse populations; bilingual desired (Spanish/ASL); pay differential available.

• Tues - Sat, 8:00am - 4:30pm / 8:30am - 5:00pm

Required Experience & Education

• Experience Treating Domestic Violence Offenders, Preferred
• Behavioral Health Experience Preferred, New Grads Considered
• Master’s degree, i.e., MA, MC, MSW, in a Behavioral Health Field
• AZ Licensure Reimbursed When Renewed as a TH Employee (according to Policy)

Compensation

• $23.42/hr + for master's level therapists
• $57,000+ for associate licensed therapists
• $70,000+ for independent licensed therapists

Duties

• Responsible for providing outpatient counseling services to clients.
• Responsible for intakes, assessments, treatment and discharge planning, and group counseling through evidence-based practices.
• Charts progress, maintains clinical records and ensures implementation of treatment and discharge plans.
• Monitors and follows up on client needs, and submits monthly service reports as required or needed.
• Coordinates services as necessary working in collaboration with various State, Federal, and local agencies.
• Provides client-centered outpatient clinical services to individuals/families.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master’s degree in a related discipline, i.e. MA, MC, MSW, Arizona behavioral health license (other than LBSW) or eligible for Arizona license from Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
• Must pass background check in accordance with Terros Health and DCS requirements including, but not limited to, no restraining orders within the last 10 years.
• Must pass DCS Central Registry check without any disqualifying events.
• Must have ability to perform First Aid or CPR as necessary and appropriate.
• Knowledge in use of Electronic Health Records - NextGen a plus.
• Experience working with diverse populations and bilingual desired (Spanish/ASL - pay differential available).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have valid Arizona driver’s license, be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy.
• Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.
• Must pass a TB Test.
