Children’s Home & Aid in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a Program Supervisor for the Child Welfare Resource Referral Program. This full-time, salaried role leads Community Resource Navigators to support families referred by DCFS for 30 days, helping identify resources and complete referrals.

A Master’s Degree in Social Work is required, with two years of social services experience preferred. CERAP and CANS certifications are required or obtainable within 90 days, plus a valid driver’s license and

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or closely related field is required.
• At least two years’ social services experience required (child welfare experience highly desirable).
• CERAP and CANS certification required, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to attend in-person meetings and events as needed required.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Community Resource Navigators who work with families identified by the Department of Child and Family Services for 30 days to help meet a range of needs including identifying resources and completing community referrals.
