Job summary

Keystone Human Services in Mechanicsburg, PA seeks a Program Specialist Trainee to support independence for individuals with intellectual disabilities. You will assist supervisors and Direct Support Professionals and work with a Behavioral Health Professional on assessments and care plans, including behavioral support.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of relevant experience, plus CPR/First Aid training and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and one year experience with intellectual disabilities or autism.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills with internal software.
• Driver’s license and daily access to a vehicle.
• Completion of required trainings including First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Area Supervisor and Direct Support Professionals to enhance independence for individuals supported.
• Collaborate with the Behavioral Health Professional to develop and implement assessments and support plans, including behavioral plans.
• Support development and execution of individual assessments and plans of care.
• Contribute to the success and coordination of care through teamwork with staff.
