Job summary

WHEDA, based in Madison, is seeking a Program Specialist for a 1-year project in the Single-Family Servicing department. The role focuses on customer service, payment processing, escrow administration, and regulatory compliance.

The position plans to start 100% in-office with future hybrid options, offering a competitive salary and a strong benefits package through the State of Wisconsin plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 0–2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support for borrowers, lending partners, insurance agents, title companies, and housing authorities.
• Monitor emails, process paid in full documents, satisfactions, and escrow refunds; handle bills for corporate advances.
• Process payoff quote requests and post/reconcile payments (ACH, wires, etc.).
• Manage escrow: hazard insurance entries, payments, force-placed insurance monitoring and payments.
• Assist day-to-day Servicing operations; participate in policy/process improvements.
• Support implementation of new software and policies; perform other duties as assigned.
