Job summary

Abound Health in Bellefonte, PA seeks a Program Specialist to oversee client services, documentation, and staff supervision within unlicensed programs (IHCS) under ODP guidelines. You will participate in ISP meetings and support client goals, task analyses, and interventions, while ensuring accurate records and appropriate service utilization.

This role requires travel throughout the region. Base pay and benefits accompany this position; HS diploma required with preferred human services

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred.
• College degree is not required; relevant human services coursework or education is preferred.
• Knowledge of ISP implementation, task analysis, goal writing, and documentation practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently and collaboratively.
• Meet applicable ODP training and qualification requirements for assigned unlicensed services.
• Valid driver's license, safe driving record, reliable transportation, and required vehicle documentation.
• Ability to successfully complete required background and health and safety clearances.
• High School Diploma or GED required; coursework or degree in human services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overssee client services, documentation, and records to ensure compliance with applicable ODP requirements.
• Supervise and support direct care staff, including performance evaluations, development, training, and scheduling.
• Participate in ISP meetings and support implementation of client goals, task analyses, and interventions.
• Complete assessments, progress reports, service documentation, and incident reports as required.
• Monitor service utilization, billing, staffing coverage, and service authorizations.
• Ensure client-specific training is completed and provide guidance to direct care staff.
• Support clients and families with accessing appropriate community resources and services.
