Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. (JP) in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Program Planning Analyst/Scheduler to join our Mission Systems Scheduling Center of Excellence. This onsite role offers a 9/80 schedule and requires a Secret clearance with US citizenship.

You will interface with Program Managers, Engineering, Operations, and Business Management to develop and maintain the IMS, decompose scope into tasks, and analyze critical paths and resource needs for timely program execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 2 years of related work experience; six years of applied experience in lieu of degree accepted.
• Some planning or scheduling related experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Current, active US Government Secret security clearance.
• Preferred: degree in Business/Industrial/Systems Engineering, Finance, Operations Management, or related field.
• Experience using MS Project, Oracle P6, Deltek Open Plan or similar scheduling tools.
• Experience with EVMS guidelines and processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop program plans and schedules in collaboration with Program Managers, Engineering, Operations, and Business Management.
• Prepare, maintain, and analyze an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) with contractual need dates.
• Decompose program scope into tasks and identify dependencies and impacts on critical paths.
• Develop estimates to complete based on resource requirements for scheduled tasks.
• Manage status updates and internal/external reports on program status and risks to schedule.
