Job Description

Metronome is seeking a Program Scheduler / Acquisition Support Specialist to support the U.S. Navy's PMW 410 Horizon program. This role will focus on developing, managing, and maintaining project schedules while helping government leadership effectively plan, track, and coordinate program activities.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing project schedules, understands scheduling best practices, and is comfortable working directly with government customers to turn program priorities, milestones, and dependencies into actionable schedules. This person should be organized, collaborative, and confident enough in their scheduling expertise to help guide the client rather than simply maintain a schedule.

What You'll Do
  • Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules supporting the Horizon program.
  • Work directly with government leadership, program managers, and functional stakeholders to capture scheduling requirements and priorities.
  • Track program milestones, activities, deliverables, dependencies, and schedule changes.
  • Identify schedule risks, conflicts, dependencies, and potential impacts to program execution.
  • Help ensure schedule information remains accurate, current, and aligned with program priorities.
  • Guide government customers and program stakeholders on scheduling best practices.
  • Coordinate schedule inputs and updates across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
  • Support program reviews, meetings, and reporting by providing schedule status and identifying upcoming milestones or areas requiring attention.
  • Use Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools to develop, update, and communicate program schedules.
  • Use Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams to support program collaboration, communication, and reporting.
  • Quickly learn new technologies, mission areas, and program concepts as needed to effectively support the Horizon team.
  • Work collaboratively with government and contractor teammates to provide responsive, outcome-focused support.
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of professional experience managing project or program schedules.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project and/or similar project scheduling software.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling practices and the ability to guide clients on effective scheduling approaches.
  • Experience coordinating milestones, activities, dependencies, and schedule updates across project teams.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of an integrated team.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and concepts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams for collaboration.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting U.S. Navy, NAVWAR, PEO C4I, or PMW programs.
  • Experience with Navy SIGINT systems or programs.
  • Experience developing or maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Master's degree.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Agile certification or experience working within Agile program environments.
About the Mission
