Job summary

Raytheon seeks an onsite Program Quality Engineer (PQE) to support Naval programs in Poulsbo, WA. The PQE collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to ensure compliant, high-quality deliverables across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance
• Experience interpreting technical drawings
• Experience with technical data packages (TDP) and document repositories

Responsibilities

• Serve as member of program teams to ensure performance and conformance.
• Act as quality liaison with DCMA/USG and labs as first responder for quality issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement quality improvements.
• Support supplier quality and supplier engineering per the supplier quality plan.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Generate new Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) projects to reduce costs.
• Review/approve changes to the technical data package and conduct peer reviews.
• Develop and monitor quality metrics for continuous improvement.
• Oversee Quality Control Plan activities during transition to production.
