Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Program Quality Engineer (PQE) to support the Advanced Technologies Strategic Business Unit in Massachusetts. You will partner with program quality leads and cross-functional teams to ensure quality outcomes across design, production, integration, test, and sustainment while adhering to AS9100/AS9145 standards.

The role requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of related experience, along with active security clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) required.
Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems.
Proven quality technical expertise for design/development and/or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Serve as a key member of the program execution team, ensuring conforming products and services.
Review and approve design artifacts and change requests for technical impact and quality.
Review subcontract statements of work for alignment with program requirements.
Assess technical risks of non-conformance with analytical skills.
Support failure investigations and nonconformance reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners and customers to meet requirements.
Drive compliance with the Raytheon Quality Management System and continuous improvement.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Implement APQP in accordance with AS9145, when applicable.
