Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Patriot Program Quality Lead (PQL) in Land and Air Defense Systems at Andover/MA to support Patriot Software and Training Devices IPT. You will collaborate with Systems Engineering, Software, and Quality to assure process adherence, risk management, and continuous improvement across programs.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in engineering/quality, ISO 9001/AS9100 experience, RCCA/FRACAS proficiency, and the ability to obtain an active U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum eight years of engineering and quality experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience in providing technical program support on a team that develops software/firmware.
• Experience with RCCA and continuous improvement.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Interface with program quality teams, programs, suppliers, customers, and IPT to ensure quality performance and compliance with Raytheon procedures and contractual requirements.
• Interface with external and internal customers and key partners to build effective relationships.
• Must be able to manage and impact across multiple levels of stakeholders for the role’s success.
• Define problems, explain impact, draft a plan, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive solutions.
• Report to leadership on testing and field issues, investigations, status and metrics.
• Lead RCCA and FRACAS activities for systemic issues and ensure thorough root cause analysis.
• Assure inclusion of quality requirements, planning, and cost management in proposals and budgets.
• Generate Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) projects to reduce program costs.
• Implement APQP as applicable.
• Lead financial analysis initiatives supporting program predictability.
