Job summary

Teledyne Imaging Sensors seeks a Program Quality Engineer to be the quality lead for assigned programs, ensuring products meet customer, regulatory, contractual, and internal quality requirements from development through delivery.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, program management, and customers to deliver highly reliable sensors while driving continuous improvement and quality excellence.

Qualifications

  • Must have problem solving, communication, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specs, and contractual requirements.
  • Experience managing nonconforming material and corrective actions.
  • Experience reviewing technical documentation and customer deliverables.
  • Quality/manufacturing engineering experience (3+ years).
  • Experience in aerospace/defense/high-reliability environments preferred.
  • AS9100 experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary quality representative for assigned programs and customers.
  • Review customer and contractual quality requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Support customer meetings, program reviews, inspections, readiness activities.
  • Prepare and review quality deliverables (ECs, COIs, FAI, acceptance records).
  • Manage nonconforming material and participate in MRB activities.
  • Lead or support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Analyze quality data to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Support audits and cross-functional collaboration to improve quality.

Program Quality Engineer

Join a team that supports some of the most demanding aerospace, defense, and space programs in the industry. As a Program Quality Engineer, you will be the quality lead for assigned programs, helping ensure products meet customer, regulatory, contractual, and internal quality requirements from development through delivery. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, program management, and customers to deliver highly reliable products while driving continuous improvement and quality excellence.

What you’ll do
  • Act as the primary quality representative for assigned programs and customers.
  • Review customer and contractual quality requirements and ensure compliance throughout program execution.
  • Support customer meetings, program reviews, inspections, and readiness activities.
  • Prepare and review customer quality deliverables, including End Item Data Packages, Certificates of Conformance, First Article Inspection documentation, and acceptance records.
  • Manage nonconforming material and participate in Material Review Board activities.
  • Lead or support root cause investigations and corrective action efforts.
  • Analyze quality data and identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support internal, customer, and external audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, compliance, and manufacturing performance.
What you need
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with attention to detail – required
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements – required
  • Experience managing nonconforming material and corrective actions – required
  • Experience reviewing technical documentation and customer deliverables – required
  • Quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related experience (3+ years) – required
  • Aerospace, defense, semiconductor, microelectronics, optics, or other high-reliability manufacturing experience – preferred
  • AS9100 Quality Management System experience – preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field – required

Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a U.S. Citizen.

Salary Range

$62,800.00-$83,700.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
