Job summary

Teledyne Imaging Sensors is seeking a Program Quality Engineer to lead quality for aerospace, defense, and space programs. You will work with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to ensure products meet quality requirements from development through delivery.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in quality/manufacturing engineering, experience interpreting drawings and contractual requirements, and AS9100 familiarity.

Qualifications

  • Quality engineering experience (3+ years) in high-reliability manufacturing.
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings and contractual requirements.
  • Experience managing nonconforming material and corrective actions.
  • Experience reviewing technical documentation and customer deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary quality representative for assigned programs and customers.
  • Review customer and contractual quality requirements and ensure compliance throughout program execution.
  • Support customer meetings, program reviews, inspections, and readiness activities.
  • Prepare and review quality deliverables including Certificates of Conformance, First Article Inspection documentation, and acceptance records.
  • Manage nonconforming material and participate in Material Review Board activities.
  • Lead or support root cause investigations and corrective action efforts.
  • Analyze quality data and identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support internal, customer, and external audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, compliance, and manufacturing performance.
