Hippo seeks a strategic Actuary to support pricing across our third-party P&C programs. ACAS credentialed pricing actuaries will influence underwriting and growth decisions, using data, benchmarks, and transparent assumptions.

You’ll collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Finance and Reinsurance to drive profitability while building scalable pricing governance and frameworks. The role offers relocation assistance and a path to leadership in a fast-growing, tech-native insurance platform, with

Qualifications

• ACAS credential with pricing experience across multiple P&C lines.
• Bachelor's degree in an actuarial/quantitative field and related training.
• 4–7 years actuarial pricing experience across lines; ability to work with limited data.

Responsibilities

• Support actuarial pricing for program portfolios across multiple P&C lines.
• Build foundations to support accelerating program business growth.
• Design and maintain price monitoring frameworks for sound underwriting decisions.
• Collaborate on enterprise views of CAT, capital, and reinsurance costs.
• Provide insights to underwriting, claims, finance and reinsurance teams.
• Establish governance for pricing reviews and model usage.
