Hippo Insurance is seeking an ACAS-credentialed pricing actuary to influence pricing strategy across a portfolio of third-party P&C programs. The role involves price monitoring, planning, and reinsurance placement, requiring collaboration with Underwriting, Claims, Finance and Reinsurance.

Qualifications

• ACAS credential and pricing experience across P&C lines.
• Ability to model with limited data and articulate assumptions clearly.
• Strong communication with executives, underwriters and partners.

Responsibilities

• Support actuarial pricing for program portfolios across P&C lines.
• Build foundations to support growth of program business.
• Design and maintain price monitoring frameworks for sound underwriting decisions.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, finance and reinsurance teams for insights.
• Establish governance for pricing reviews, model usage, and onboarding.
