Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Program Planning Analyst/Scheduler in Linthicum, MD for the Mission Systems Sector. This onsite role focuses on building and maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule, coordinating with PMs, Eng, and Ops, and ensuring program milestones align with contractual dates.

The position emphasizes professional development within a Center of Excellence, with training in standard toolsets and methods to drive program execution and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• Will consider 6 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement
• Some planning or scheduling related experience
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Current, active US Government Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Interface with Program Managers, Engineering, Operations and Business Management to develop program plans and schedules.
• Prepare, maintain, and analyze a program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) with contractual need dates.
• Work with Control Account Managers to decompose scope into clearly defined tasks and analyze dependencies.
• Develop an estimate to complete based on resource requirements for scheduled tasks.
• Manage status updates and develop internal and external reports on program status; identify risks impacting schedule achievability.
• Ensure compliance with EVMS guidelines.
